Black Friday is the best time for students to get deals on the latest electronics such as televisions, laptops and air fryers. While Black Friday officially starts on Nov. 25, retailers are giving discounts on these items right now.

Best Buy and Target Corp. are among the stores that are currently offering Black Friday deals on their electronics. Walmart Corp. started its Black Friday deals online on Nov. 7 at 7:00 p.m. and in stores on Nov. 9 at 6:00 a.m.

Some of the best early Black Friday deals include the first generation Apple AirPods Pro for $169.99 on Amazon.com Inc. and Lenovo IdeaPad 1i selling for $99.99 at Best Buy. You can save $79 on the AirPods and $150 on the Lenovo IdeaPad. Not all the discounts being given are generous.

One way to determine if a deal is worth it is to use price trackers to see increases and decreases in items over time. It will also help students compare prices with companies’ competitors and help them see who is giving the best deal.

Camelcamelcamel.com is a free Amazon price tracker. The Honey extension on Google Chrome compares prices from retailers.

Baruch students who want new laptops or headphones should definitely check out these deals.
