The Bank of America Winter Village at Bryant Park is back for its 19th season after over a year of uncertainty because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

This winter wonderland will open from Oct. 29, 2021 to March 6, 2022 and operate on Mondays to Thursdays from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Fridays to Sundays from 8 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.

Everyone gets free admission to a 17,000 square-foot outdoor ice skating rink in New York’s Bryant Park, according to The Villager. People can skate freestyle, get involved in several activities or observe skating performances.

Skating rentals and reservations can be made conveniently online, and reservation slots are posted two weeks in advance, according to the Winter Village’s webpage.

The Winter Village offers a market inspired by European culture that headlines global craftsmen and spotlights 170 new and current vendors, each positioned in gazebos that resemble jewel boxes, according to The Villager. The Holiday Market will be open every day until Jan. 2, which will become the perfect destination to buy local art and lovely gifts.

Bank of America will also highlight four small, minority-owned businesses with Small Business Spotlight. These businesses will have the opportunity to present and sell their products in a booth without having to pay rent.

The village also features an Amazon Prime pop-up shop called the Lodge by Prime Video, which has an outdoor lounge space where visitors can enjoy cocktails and food, watch the ice skaters or look at the Christmas tree to enhance their holiday spirits.

The pop-up will operate until the end of November , and it will show a variety of different movies and television shows like “The Electrical Life of Louis Wain,” “Being the Ricardos,” “VAL,” “The Tender Bar,” “The Pursuit of Love,” “With Love” and “Harlem.” Guests at the Lodge by Prime Video can scan the QR codes on tables and watch trailers of the movies to decide which ones they’d like to see.

In regards to COVID-19 regulations, masks are recommended at the Winter Village and Bryant Park staff will still follow strict sanitation rules on a daily basis to make sure that high- contact areas and rental gear are safe.
