A family is desperate to find 19-year-old Baruch College student Muhammad Ansari after he went missing on March 25.

He was last seen wearing a black hooded shirt, blue jeans and white sneakers. His last known location was on Roosevelt Island.

Ansari is a South Asian male standing at 5’10” and weighing 140 lbs.

In a statement to The Ticker, the Ansari family explained, “He didn’t come back from his friend’s house.”

“We are hoping and praying he will return home ASAP,” the Ansari family said. “He showed no signs and indications that he will not come back home. Everything seemed pretty normal when we last saw him.”

Ansari is a sophomore majoring in finance. He wasn’t involved in any club life at Baruch but loved playing basketball and really enjoyed listening to music. Ansari was a huge Mac Miller fan and said to have felt comforted by his songs, explained the Ansari family.

Baruch officials refused to comment in respect of the Ansari family but said to be standing by them during this difficult time.

The New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating Ansari.

If anyone has any information, please contact the NYPD’s Crime Stopper Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or by logging online to the Crime Stoppers’ website or by texting 274637 (CRIMES).
