The league has been interesting with these two teams, as they have some history with each other over the past few years, especially during these stages of the title race. 

Arsenal looked to be the favorites to win the league in the past but failed to do so due to terrible luck and injured key players, leaving Manchester City F.C. to take away their dreams of lifting the trophy. 

As of now, it is still anyone’s game, as the Gunners have seemed less aggressive in the past couple of games, leaving many fans worried that they will lose the trophy again for the fourth year in a row. 

Manchester City F.C. also does not seem like the title contenders they used to be. They are in the same boat as Arsenal F.C., where they are finding difficulties defeating mid-table teams. 

The match started with Arsenal F.C., who will decide whether to remain first or fall behind and let Manchester City F.C. close the gap.

During this match against Everton F.C., Arsenal faced a goal drought as neither team scored within the first half. 

Many commentators and pundits have already decided that Arsenal F.C. will fall behind Manchester City F.C., as this draw will close the gap between the two teams. 

Near the end of full-time, Arsenal was awarded a throw-in and the ball was thrown to Max Dowman. He crossed the ball to the center of the opponent’s box as he spotted his teammates. 

The ball landed to Piero Hincapié and gave an assist to Viktor Gyökeres, who scored to make it 1-0 in the 89th minute. 

The game continued into extra time. Near the end, with a minute left, Everton F.C. was awarded a corner kick, having one more chance to equalize the score. The ball went into play and was blocked by Arsenal’s defense. 

Arsenal F.C.’s Gabriel Martinelli passed the ball to Dowman, leading the youngster to make a run for the goal as he dribbled past the defender and outpaced them. 

Dowman shoots and scores, leaving the score 2-0 in the 97th minute. 

The game ended and Dowman became the youngest goal scorer in the Premier League and a hero to Arsenal F.C. as they sit on top of the table with 70 points, stretching the gap between Manchester City F.C.

Manchester City F.C. played their match against West Ham United F.C. and tied 1-1. A last-minute goal from the former Arsenal F.C. player left Manchester City F.C. falling behind, and it might be the end for them as title contenders, as there are many difficult teams waiting for them. 

The gap between Arsenal F.C. and Manchester City F.C. grew from seven points to 9 points.
