After taking a five-year hiatus, The Neighbourhood started their “Wourld Tour” in March to promote their newest album “(((((ultraSOUND))))),” released November 2025. The album has 15 tracks, encompassing the niche of alternative rock.
The Neighbourhood formed in August 2011 by five members: lead singer Jesse Rutherford, guitarists Zach Abels and Jeremy Freedman, bassist Mikey Margott and drummer Bryan Sammis.
Sammis left the band in 2014 to pursue his own career and was replaced by drummer Brandon Fried.
The band decided to take a mental health break due to their rigorous production schedule over the past decade. This did not couple well with Rutherford’s 10-year age-gap relationship with Billie Eilish and Fried’s sexual assault allegations, as reported by The Ithacan.
With these five reunited for the “WOURLD TOUR,” the internet has been hyped — especially after clips circulated of Rutherford singing “Sweater Weather” while stripping his shirt off onstage.
Many fans have waited for the live performance of this song, as it is the band’s top song and has become a staple of the younger generation’s romantic song playlists. The song captures the feeling of love through the little moments shared between a couple, encapsulating the kind of love many dream of and seek.
Another viral clip features the musician Nessa Barrett opening the show with the song “Flawless,” where she has her back turned to the audience, swaying her hips similar to how she did in the music video.
The song conveys a woman’s perfection in a man’s eyes and the lust that follows due to this perception.
Other past hits included in the setlist for the tour include “You Get Me So High,” “Soft Core,” “Afraid,” “Daddy Issues” and “The Beach.” The set list consists of 25 songs, with a good range of hits from each of The Neighbourhood’s albums coupled with “(((((ultraSOUND)))))” songs.
Though the band doesn’t play all 15 tracks from their new album, they are known to play a few of the songs, such as “Good Grief,” “OMG,” “Hula Girl” and “Lovebomb.”
“Lovebomb” was highlighted by Genius as the most streamed song in the album, with Barrett conducting a lyric analysis with them.
“Good Grief” has been used in many Instagram stories and reposts for the band. “Stupid Boy,” although not on the setlist, is seen as a sequel to their song “Pretty Boy.”
The Neighbourhood will make their way to New York City at Barclays Center in late November. Tickets for the tour are selling out quickly, with prices ranging from $149 to $157.
