Welcome back to another update from the Undergraduate Student Government! We continue pushing forward new and exciting events for the student body.
Last week, our Chair of Clubs and Organizations, Amrutha Thirumalesh, hosted “Battle of the Clubs” to encourage club collaboration and co-sponsorship with USG.
Additionally, we hosted a “Build Your Own Charcuterie Board” event for students to enjoy and explore culinary arts.
At our meeting on Feb. 20, Provost Dr. Linda Essig visited the USG Senate to share the status of the Baruch College Strategic Plan, which began in 2022.
Many initiatives have been completed or are in progress due to the Strategic Plan, including a push for study abroad programs, transfer student road maps and equity gap analysis.
We are currently accepting applications for a representative senator. Interested students must not have class after 5:30 p.m. on Tuesdays, have at least a 2.5 GPA, be enrolled in at least six credits and not be on the executive board of another club.
The link to apply for this position can be found on our Instagram page. The deadline is March 8 at 11:59 p.m.
As March nears, be on the lookout for events in honor of Women’s History Month and many more!
