USG Report: Immigration lawyer services for Baruch students

Over the past semesters, the Undergraduate Student Government, along with the Graduate Student Assembly, have been collectively paying for immigration lawyer services for students at Baruch College.

Every Baruch student who wants to seek legal advice on immigration inquiries can consult a lawyer twice per semester. Every appointment is limited to 30 minutes. Since this is a service paid for by both USG and GSA, both undergraduate students and graduate students are welcome to use this service.

Students who may need to reserve this service can set up an appointment through the Baruch Student Affairs page, or through this link.

This legal service is available during the semester on Wednesdays from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and the dates that are still available for appointment left in the semester are on Nov. 4, Nov. 18, Dec. 2 and Dec. 9.

If a student cannot make it to a scheduled appointment, the student is required to cancel the appointment 48 hours in advance by emailing Natalie.otero@baruch.cuny.edu.

This service is a resource that every student should acknowledge. If anyone knows a student that might need to contact an immigration lawyer, please notify them as soon as possible.
