Greetings my fellow Bearcats,
With hopes that you enjoyed your summer vacation, the Undergraduate Student Government will like to welcome you back to the Baruch College campus as we prepare for our fall semester. As your newly elected student government, we acknowledge the roles and responsibilities that we have to ensure that students can have a great experience on campus. Last year, Baruch students faced a multitude of challenges that hindered their opportunity to have the campus experience they deserved. Yet, time after time, you all have proved resilient, resourceful and capable of enduring any situation. This year, we have laid out three goals for our team that we would like to share with you all.
First, we aim to support clubs and organizations on campus to allow collaborative efforts, showing students that we have a present student life that welcomes all groups and communities.
Second, we want to give students more opportunities to involve themselves in USG and to connect with all people in the organization.
Lastly, we aim to act as a bridge between students and administration, ensuring that all voices and groups are heard.
This year, our team was intricately designed to include voices from as many groups that are prevalent on campus. This gives us the ability to hear from as many perspectives and to act accordingly. We hope to hear from all of you. Regardless of any tone that our predecessors may have set in the past, this year brings fresh faces that would like to be involved in your college experience.
USG wishes you a great start to your semester and we hope to hear from you soon!
Sincerest wishes,
USG E-Board
