Hey Bearcats! March is a busy month for the Undergraduate Student Government, we have so much planned for you all to enjoy!

Recently, we hosted an annual “Elevate Your Image” headshot event, organized by Rep. Sen. Victor Martinez, to help students get the perfect professional headshot.

We also hosted a workshop on intergenerational trauma, “Breaking the Cycle,” led by Rep. Sen. JiaQi Wu in collaboration with the Counseling Center.

Such events help students become more aware of the services offered by the Counseling Center to support students’ mental health.

To celebrate Women’s History Month, USG has organized several panels with women in different fields.

The Women in Tech panel, led by our VP of Academic Affairs Adelaide Ilyasov and our Executive Treasurer Karen Guanga, highlighted the career paths available to women at Baruch College who are pursuing studies in this field.

There will also be a Women in Marketing panel on March 28, organized by our Chair of Marketing, Jessica Angamarca. This event will display to students the experiences and success stories of women in marketing.

Also coming up, join USG for the “Free CUNY Rally” on March 21 in the Clivner=Field Plaza! This event, led by our VP of Legislative Affairs Khairun Nisa, calls on Baruch students to come together to advocate for free tuition for CUNY students.
